Frieda Mumm of Champaign is celebrating her 102nd birthday with a family gathering at a later date.

She was born on April 20, 1910, in Sidney Township.
She married Maynard Anderson. He died. She then married Lawrence Mumm, her high school sweetheart whom she had not seen in more than 60 years. He died on Oct. 8, 2005.  
She worked at the University of Illinois and volunteered at the Early American Museum in Mahomet.
