Sidney to conduct water rate study

The village will spend $8,150 to have Farnsworth Group do a water rate study.
“It’s a lot of money, and I’m not looking forward to spending it,” Trustee Troy Roberts said. “But even if we don’t contract with them, we have to figure out something.”

That is certainly rough news. Water is a behometh that most don't realize requires a lot of maintenance and upkeep if we want to use it the way we do. I do think the money is worth it in the end. Our pool service requires the same kind of level of dilligence and care to keep everything running smoothly.
