Philo advances with zoning changes

The village’s newly combined zoning board of appeals and planning commission is making progress on a new zoning ordinance, modeled on Gibson City’s.
The latest details being discussed are open space ratio, the permitting process, fences and setbacks, Village Trustee Pat Pioletti reported at the Feb. 14 village board meeting. For the March meeting, Pioletti said, the zoning board would have copies of what it has worked on so far.
