Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company, through its independent agency force, will award 50 Road to Success Scholarships of $1,000 each to high school seniors throughout its Midwest writing territory, including Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wisconsin, in the spring. Since the program’s inception six years ago, Grinnell Mutual and its agents have provided college-bound students with nearly $300,000 in scholarships.
“The Road to Success Scholarship is a great way for Grinnell Mutual agents to reward their student drivers. Like our agents, we believe in giving back to the community. Together we encourage good grades and good driving,” said Barb Baker, manager of advertising and community relations at Grinnell Mutual. “Any Grinnell Mutual auto policyholder who is a senior in high school may qualify for a scholarship if he or she maintains a 3.0 GPA and has a clean driving record.”
Scholarship winners will be chosen at random from eligible applicants. To learn more and to apply, pick up an application from a local Grinnell Mutual agent or download it at www.grinnellmutual.com [1]. All applications must be postmarked by March 31 to be eligible.
