Unity made up for their mistakes on Monday with a late rally to beat PBL, 7-6.
Errors cost Unity in the first inning when PBL took a 2-0 lead. A two-RBI triple by Kyle Negangard got Unity a lead in the second inning, but more errors in the fourth let the Panthers squeak back into the poll position, 6-5.
In the fifth inning Negangard legged out an infield single and was driven home by Kyle Buhr to tie the game. In the sixth PBL made a couple of errors to start the inning, and Seth Tolliver made the visitors pay. His bloop single to short center plated Mitchell Snodgrass for the go-ahead run.
On the mound Mitch Negangard pitched a complete game, picking off the Panthers only base runner in the seventh to finish off the win for Unity.
The Rockets are now 10-3 and play April 10 at Tuscola.
