Rockets continue climb with pair of victories

The Unity boys basketball team reached another milestone on their ascent toward the .500 mark for the 2012-13 season. After an 0-7 start to the season, the Rockets picked up their fifth and sixth wins in their last 10 games last week, with a 58-46 victory over Sullivan and a 62-46 triumph over Warrensburg-Latham, both at the Rocket Center. The wins also lifted Unity’s record in the Okaw Valley Conference to 3-3, heading into a Tuesday home game against a Clinton squad that is winless in the Okaw, and the start of the OVC Tournament Friday at Maroa.
