Unity 7th-graders to play for third place at state

The Unity Junior High School seventh-grade boys basketball team will play for third place Thursday night in the Illinois Elementary School Association class 7-3A tournament. The Junior Rockets defeated previously undefeated Glasford Illini Bluffs 40-36 Saturday afternoon in the quarterfinals but lost in the semis to Burr Ridge, 42-25, to earn their spot in the third-place game. Unity’s opponent in the third-place game will be Dixmoor Rosa Parks.
