Wheeler scores 1,000th point in Rockets’ win over STM

The atmosphere at last Friday night’s Unity-St. Thomas More boys’ basketball game reminded many in attendance of the “good old days” of high school basketball. The bleachers in Unity’s Osborn Gym were nearly full, both schools had vocal student sections dressed up in costumes, and the game itself was exciting, with the Rockets holding on in the final minutes for a 69-66 Okaw Valley Conference victory and a season sweep of the Sabers.
Adding to the excitement was the announcement at halftime that Unity junior J.T. Wheeler had scored the 1,000th point of his high school career during the first half.

Great post! I remember myself when I was participating in a high school basketball league. I don't play anymore but I am constantly writing for https://hitthegrade.com/ matches and players. Even though I can't play because of an old trauma I enjoy my journalist career.
