UJHS boys open season with 2 tourneys

The Unity Junior High School boys’ basketball teams started their seasons with a pair of round-robin tournaments during the first three weeks of the schedule. Both squads opened at Mahomet-Seymour, playing three games in four nights against Danville North Ridge, Mt. Zion and the host Bulldogs. After a week in which they played just one game, the Rockets went to LeRoy to play three games in five nights against the host Panthers, Tri-Valley and Fisher.
