Unity boys hoops open Saturday at Clinton

The Unity High School boys’ basketball team will open their 2017-18 season this Saturday at Clinton, and Matt Reed’s second Rocket team will start the season with something past squads have not had, and that is a wealth of practice time. Many years the amount of pre-season practice for the entire team has been limited by the success of the football team.
This year, practice for the full squad started on time, and since the season opener was not scheduled for Thanksgiving week, the Rockets will have almost three weeks to get ready.
