UJHS boys’ basketball prepares for regionals

Postseason play will begin later this month for the Unity Junior High School boys’ basketball teams, and seventh-grade coach Kyle Messman and eighth-grade coach Tom Kimball are hoping their squads can find some magic when they head into their respective regional tournaments.
Victories have been hard to come by for the young Rockets, with the seventh-graders taking a 6-11 record into the final two weeks of the regular season, while the eighth-grade team carries a 4-13 mark into its final three games. Both teams started their seasons with 2-6, which included a pair of tournaments to start the campaign.
