Unity to celebrate homecoming this Friday against St. Joseph-Ogden

This week, Unity High School will celebrate homecoming by hosting the Spartans of St. Joseph-Ogden High School in the annual football game at Hicks Field. The Rockets come into the game with a 3-0 record, both overall and in the Illini Prairie Conference, while SJO suffered its first setback of the season last Friday in a 59-39 home loss to Bloomington Central Catholic.
Since the Illinois High School Association started putting the archives of regular season and playoff games on its website in 1996, the Rockets and Spartans have met 13 times during the regular season, with Unity winning nine times to SJO’s 4.
