Unity goes south to meet Herrin Tigers in 2nd round

Those optimists that thought the Unity Rockets would beat Pontiac in the first round of the Class 4A playoffs would have been right if they had made signs for the next round saying, “Beat The Tigers.” They would have been on point no matter who won, because the Rockets would face either the Paris Tigers or the Herrin Tigers in the second round. Turns out, Unity will be going to southern Illinois this Saturday to play at 2 p.m. at Herrin.
