UJHS 7th-grade girls improve to 9-4 on the hardwood

The junior high school girls’ basketball season is heading into its final weeks, and Unity’s seventh-grade girls have been in a stretch with several games in a short period of time.
Because of some make-up games brought about because of the softball team’s march to the state tournament, the Rockets had to make up games with Paris Crestwood and Charleston, to go along with regularly scheduled contests against Argenta-Oreana, Prairieview-Ogden and Monticello. Faced with a gauntlet of five games in a seven-day period, the Rockets did quite well, winning three of the five to raise their season’s record to 9-4.
