Unity 8th-grade girls preparing for postseason play

The Unity Junior High School eighth-grade girls’ basketball team found itself two weeks behind before they even started their season, due to the success of the school’s softball team.
Because the softball squad advanced to the Illinois Elementary School Association’s state tournament, the Rockets had to cancel their first two games and reschedule two others. But through the first three weeks of the campaign, Unity had managed a 3-3 record, which included a 1-3 mark in the always tough Mahomet-Seymour tournament.
