Rocket girls fall to St. Thomas More

Elyce Knudsen and Hannah Rutledge each tallied nine points for the Rockets, but it wasn’t enough as Unity fell to St. Thomas More by a score of 48-28 Monday night.
The Sabers got out ahead of the Rockets, tallying 13 points to Unity’s eight in the first period and never looked back. By halftime, St. Thomas More led 29-16.
The second half was not much better for the Rockets as STM outscored them 14-4 in the third period. Unity did manage to outscore the Sabers 8-5 in the final stanza, but it was too little too late.
Morgan Steinman gathered eight rebounds for the Rockets.
Nakaya Hughes led STM in scoring with 16 points.
