Rockets downed by Paris

Elyce Knudsen led the scoring attack for the Unity High School girls’ basketball team with 16 points as they fell to Paris Monday night  at the Rocket Center by a score of 50-35.
Knudsen also added eight rebounds to her stat line. The Rockets’ Hannah Rutledge added six points, and Morgan Steinman was also active on the glass, with nine rebounds.
The game started out close, with both teams tied at nine points each at the end of the first period of play. Paris’ Sarah Isaf had a strong second period, though, scoring seven points to lead the Tigers to a 25-15 halftime lead. Isaf added seven more points in the third period, and Paris led Unity 37-22. Knudsen scored five of her points in the fourth period, but it wasn’t enough for the Rockets to make a comeback.
