Unity goes 1-3 in Tennessee

The Unity High School softball team took its spring trip last week not looking for surf and sand but for a chance to play ball. Because of the weather back home in Illinois has not been very cooperative, limiting the Rockets to just four games over the first two-plus weeks of the season, Coach Aimee Davis and her Unity squad hoped to get as many games as possible in the 27th Annual Soddy-Daisy Lady Trojan Invitational in suburban Chattanooga. The lack of game experience for the Rockets put them at a distinct disadvantage in the tournament, because some of the teams in the field had played close to 20 games so far.
