Unity girls place 7th at Charleston Indoor Invitational

The Unity High School girls’ track and field team competed in their first (and only) full-scale meet of the indoor season last Saturday, going to Eastern Illinois University’s Lantz Fieldhouse for the Charleston Girls’ Indoor Invitational. The Rockets placed seventh in the Class AA team standings with 32 points. Three powers from the Metro-East area, Cahokia, Edwardsville and Belleville West took the top three places with 67, 58 and 54 points, respectively.
