Eighth-graders win, seventh-graders lose in regional openers

The Unity Junior High School volleyball programs entered into postseason play on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the Class 7-3A regional tournament hosted by St. Joseph.
The seventh-grade Rockets were the top seed in the regional and drew a bye in the first round, which was held the night before. Unity’s opponent in the semifinals was the host team, the Panthers of St. Joseph, the fourth seed in the tournament.
