Youth Wrestling Club building success

Wrestling has been in the news a lot lately with recent Illinois High School Association state finals hosted in Champaign, and as the IOC debates dropping wrestling one of the first Olympic sports from the 2020 games.  
Here in Central Illinois, wrestling will continue to be a pretty big deal and hot topic to a number of youth wrestlers as they hit the mats for the next few weekends in regional, sectional and state level youth wrestling competitions. One of those teams, Unity Youth Wrestling Club, comprised of 40-plus wrestlers from Unity, Tuscola and Villa Grove school districts, have rocketed their way through the wrestling season, collecting a multitude of individual awards and additional team trophies at tournaments in Mattoon, Monticello, Mahomet and Tolono.
