Rockets wrestlers go 6-4

The Unity High School wrestling team had its busiest weekend of the season Friday and Saturday when the Rockets competed in the New Year’s Challenge Duals, hosted by St. Thomas More at the Danville Civic Center. Unity wrestled ten matches over the two days and won six of the bouts, going 4-1 on Friday and 2-3 on Saturday. Friday the Rockets won their first four matches, defeating Herrin 72-9; Covington, Ind. 72-12; Oakwood 37-36; and Ridgeview 58-24 before losing to Attica, Ind., 62-15.
